It’s been 44 days since I officially launched Learning Karma and the experience I have had so far has been nothing short of amazing.

The thing that has been the most incredible is the community. This community of entrepreneurs and small business owners is absolutely phenomenal. I have been so lucky to connect with people, some who are long time friends and colleagues and others whom I just met.

The one thing that every single one of them has in common is their generosity. Their generosity to share their time, their experiences, and their wisdom with me is simply incredible.And on top of all those acts of kindness, I have been overwhelmed with the generosity that this community shows when it comes to making sure we are all successful. Being a small business owner is not easy and it takes a lot of grit and determination to go out there day after day an actively seek new clients and work. Because of that you may think that people would be more inclined to keep the opportunities that come along just to themselves in order to make sure they can pay their bills. But you know what?? EVERY single entrepreneur that I have spoken with has offered to introduce me to potential clients, bring me in on project work that they may need help on or to collaborate on ideas.

There are a lot of reasons I chose to go out on my own. But being part of this amazing community of creative, talented, and generous professionals has been one of the greatest benefits so far.
